Terms of service
Last updated May 28, 2026
Welcome to Tumble. By scheduling a pickup or otherwise using our service, you agree to these terms.
The service
Tumble Laundry, LLC (“Tumble,” “we,” “us”) provides scheduled pickup, washing, drying, folding, and delivery of laundry within our service area (currently San Francisco). Service availability, pricing, and turnaround times may change.
Your account
You agree to provide accurate contact and delivery information, and to keep your account credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Pickup and delivery
Please leave your laundry at the agreed location during your scheduled window. We text when we're on the way and again when we deliver. If you're not home, we leave your laundry in the spot you specify. We aren't responsible for items left in unsecured locations.
Pricing and payment
Current pricing is shown on our website. We charge the payment method on file after delivery. We may change pricing with notice for future pickups.
Cancellations
You can cancel or reschedule a pickup up to two hours before the window opens at no charge. Cancellations after that point may be subject to a fee equal to one bag.
Lost or damaged items
We handle your laundry with care. If something is lost or damaged through our fault, we will reimburse up to $50 per bag or the item's reasonable replacement cost (whichever is lower), provided you notify us within seven days of return.
We are not liable for damage caused by manufacturer defects, care instructions on the garment, or items you did not disclose (for example, delicates not labeled as such or items hidden inside other items).
Acceptable use
Please don't include hazardous items, biohazards, weapons, or anything illegal in your bag. We may refuse service for items that pose a risk to our team, our equipment, or other customers' laundry.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tumble's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County.
